My name is Anita S. Chavez,
I will be your instructor for any courses you register for through this site. I have been working with families and children for thirty plus years as a Family Support Specialist through agencies such as: Eye Counseling and Crisis, North County Lifeline, Head Start, Family Court Services, and the California Probation Department to name a few.
My primary role working with these agencies for many years has been to assist families in crisis by providing resources and equip them with the skills they need to rebuild their lives again through in home visitation, supervision, family support counseling and mediation.
I have recently partnered with California Parenting to create an online parenting course so that I can extend my services to those who can not meet with me in person due to distance or cost.
